I just started kiepeng tropical freshwater fish. I adore oscars. i have three young ones; a male and a female red, and most likely a male albino tiger oscar as well as two nicaraguan cichlids. I have them currently (and not permanently) in a 65 gal tank with a 30-60 gallon hang-on-the back-filter on the left side. There is also a 5-15 gallon filter of the same brand on the right side running, and it has just fully cycled to a healthy level. I am glad because I knew that i made a mistake of adding the fish too early so the nitrate levels kept spiking drastically and I had to change the filters and water in order to keep the fish from getting ill.
